Funds may be added to inmates’ accounts in several ways. There are kiosks in the lobby of the Sheriff’s Office that accept cash (excluding $1 bills) and credit cards. A state ID must be scanned to use the kiosk. Funds may be deposited online at the Access Corrections website or by calling (800) 546-6283. Mondey orders or cashier’s checks made payable to the detainee may be mailed to:

Commissary is operated and managed through Keefe Commissary. Funds should arrive at the Sheriff’s Office by 4pm on Mondays to be available for weekly commissary orders, which are placed on Monday nights.
Visitation Hours
Inmates receive two, 30-minute visits a week. Visitors traveling at least one hour each way to visit may make special arrangements for extended visitation with the Corrections Branch Director. Visitation days and times are scheduled by housing assignment. Contact the Adair County Sheriff’s Office at (660) 665-4644 extension #1 for an inmate’s visitation schedule.
All visitors must sign in at the control room window using a state-issued ID. All minor visitors must be accompanied by an adult and supervised during the duration of the visit.
