Cooper County Jail Information and Inmate Search

The Cooper County jail is located in Boonville, Missouri. The facility was constructed in 1999. It has a capacity of 70 beds and houses male and female inmates. Inmate fees are $50 per day plus medical costs. The current Jail Administrator is Captain Brad Simmons. The staff includes Lieutenant Robyn Pfeiffer, Sergeants Jordan Humphrey and Kenneth Lucas, and ten detention officers whose names are available on the Cooper County Sheriff’s Office website.

How to Send Money

Money may be deposited to inmates’ commissary accounts on the JailATM website. They may also be contacted by phone at 1-866-933-6386. Only the inmate’s name is necessary to make a deposit

Visitation Hours

Visitation is held Saturday and Sunday from Noon to 4:00p.m. Visits are by video but held onsite. They last up to 30 minutes and must be scheduled 24 hours in advance. Visitors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

The county jail is operated by the local Sheriff’s Office. Chris Class is the current Sheriff. The office’s administrative hours are Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm.
