Funds may be deposited into inmates’ commissary accounts in several ways. A kiosk in the lobby accepts cash and debit/credit cards. Deposits may also be made on the Access Corrections website or by calling (866) 345-1884. An inmate’s ID number is required to complete this transaction. Commissary orders are submitted Tuesday mornings.

Visitation Hours

All visitation at the Franklin County jail is by video and is operated by HomeWAV. Onsite visits may be held at kiosks in the jail lobby for free. Franklin County Public Records Information

Missouri’s Sunshine Law mandates that records created by government agencies, including the Sheriff’s Office, be made available to the public. Copies of Sheriff’s Office records will be provided upon request. Kimberly Moritz is the Records Custodian for the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office. The Office provides a records request form online, though it is not requisite to use it. Records requests should include all information relevant to locating the records and the contact information of the person making the request. Copies of records will not be released until the processing fee is paid. This fee typically ranges from $2 to $5 and may be paid in cash, check, or money order. When the records are ready, they may be picked up between 8am and 4:15pm on weekdays. Requests for records should be directed to:
