How to Send Mail or Package

Mail must include the sender’s full name and return address.
Padded or bubble envelopes are not permitted, but writing and drawing on envelopes are acceptable provided they meet the censorship guidelines. Greeting cards must not exceed 8 ½ by 11 inches and may not be mechanical or musical or contain ribbon, string, or metal pieces. Homemade cards with layers that are taped or glued are not allowed. Cards and postcards must be signed in ink. Each letter may include up to five 8½ x 11-inch enclosures or news clippings, but they may not include pictures. Photos and personal correspondence must be mailed separately. Polaroids are not allowed and pictures can have no writing on them other than a name, date and location. Pictures of inmates are not allowed.
Subscriptions of magazines and newspapers are allowed, though the purchaser should verify the acceptability of the publication with the jail. These items must be sent directly from the vendor.
Commissary services are operated by Tiger Commissary. Deposits may be made to inmates’ accounts through their websites or commissary packages may be ordered and shipped directly to an inmate.
Visitation Hours
Visitation is conducted by video and scheduled by an inmate’s assigned common area. Inmates may be one 20-minute visit per designated visitation day. Visitors should arrive a half-hour early to check in with a valid photo ID. Visitors 13 to 18 years old must show an ID, such as a school ID, and be accompanied by an adult.
