The Macon County jail is currently undergoing an expansion. Six new cells are being added above the cells in two pods. The second story was intentionally created to enable this expansion. The expansion will expand the jail’s capacity by 14 to 16 inmates. The Jail Administrator is Adam Miller and the staff includes Corrections Officers Ethan Gresham, Elizabeth Richardson, Tracie Sizemore, Deana Cross, Amy Owings, Raylene Kribbs, Kara Stucki, John Wiggins, and Martin Kelley.

Requests may be made in any format, including by phone, but written requests are preferred. They should describe the records in as much detail as possible (i.e. relevant names, locations, dates, etc) and provide contact information for the person making the request.
