How to Send Mail or Package

Personal mail to inmates at Pike County Detention Center must be in the form of a standard postcard. Non-legal mail in an envelope will be returned to sender. Photographs and some other items may be brought directly to inmates during visitation.

Funds may be added to inmates’ commissary accounts at the lobby kiosk or online at the Inmate Canteen website.

Visitation Hours

Jail/Video visitation hours are Monday through Friday from 4 pm to 9 pm and Saturday through Sunday from 9 am to 5 pm. Three visitors, including children, may attend each visit. Adult visitors must have valid photo identification.

The Pike County Detention Center is operated by the local Sheriff’s Office. Stephen Korte has been ​Sheriff since 2009. The office’s administrative hours are Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm.
