The Pike County Detention Center is operated by the local Sheriff’s Office. Stephen Korte has been ​Sheriff since 2009. The office’s administrative hours are Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm.

Pike County Public Records Information

Missouri’s Sunshine Law ensures that copies of records created by government offices, including the Sheriff’s Office, are made available to the public on request. The law requires each office to employ a custodian of records who is responsible for responding to public records requests. Requests may be made in any format (i.e. by phone, mail, fax, email, etc), but written requests are preferred. They should describe the records requested in as much detail as available and provide the contact information of the person making the request.
