Postcards are photocopied and the copies are delivered via tablet or kiosk. The original mail is held for one week. Inmates may request to have the original cards placed in their property.

Mail requests may be submitted to the Jail Administrator for exceptions to the postcard requirement. This mail will also be photocopied and the originals kept for one week, unless otherwise requested. Newspapers, magazines, books, pictures, clothing, or packages of any kind must also be approved by the Jail Administrator. With the exception of photos, these items must come directly from a commercial source.

Deposits may be made to inmates’ commissary accounts using a kiosk in the Sheriff’s lobby, which accepts credit/debit cards and cash, or online at the Inmate Canteen website. There is a $200.00 per credit card deposit limit and a limit of $1000 per rolling 10 days. Turnkey charges a fee of approximately $9 each time a deposit is made. This means if $10 is deposited to someone’s account, they will only receive $1 to use.
