How to Send Mail or Package

Personal mail to inmates is sent to a JailATM processing facility where it is scanned and then delivered to inmates electronically. Personal mail to inmates should be addressed as follows:

There is JailATM in the Corrections lobby where deposits may be made to inmates’ accounts. Deposits may also be made online at the JailATM website.

Visitation Hours

In-person one hour visits are held onsite in visitation booths. Two adults or one adult and two children may visit at one time. Inmates are responsible for submitting visitor lists and scheduling visits. Inmates are responsible for submitting visitor lists to Corrections administration and scheduling family and friends. Visitors must check in and then wait outside or in the lobby until officers call for and escort each visitor into the building.

JailATM also provides remote video calls for a fee. An account is required.

The St. Charles County Sheriff’s Office operates the local jail. Scott A. Lewis is the current Sheriff. The office’s administrative hours are Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm.
