How to Send Mail or Package

Personal mail to inmates should be in the form of postcards. These should include the sender’s name and return address and be addressed as follows:

Deposits to inmates’ commissary accounts may be made through a kiosk in the lobby, which accepts cash and credit/debit cards, or online at the CityTeleCoin website. Money orders made out to the inmate may be mailed to:

Visitation Hours

Onsite visitation is held Monday through Friday from 6pm-10pm. Onsite visits are free and must be scheduled by the inmate. Visitors must have photo ID and anyone under the age of 17 must be accompanied by a guardian and have a birth certificate. Visits last 15 minutes and inmates may have up to three visits per week.

Remote video visits are available for purchase through CityTeleCoin’s website or app and may be scheduled any time during the day.

Vernon County Sheriff Information

The Vernon County Sheriff’s Office operates the county jail. The current Sheriff is Jason Mosher and the Chief Deputy is Travis Cole. The office’s administrative hours are Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm.
