How to Send Mail or Package

Mail to inmates must be standard white postcards no larger than 5×7 inches. Only money orders and photographs are accepted in envelopes. Inmates can receive up to 10 photos no larger than 4×6” at a time.

Visitation Hours

Visits to the Bates County jail last 15 minutes. Visitors must have a photo ID and those under 17 must have a birth certificate and be accompanied by an adult. Visitation is held on a video kiosk that connects to inmates’ in their housing pods. Visitation is held daily from 7:00 am to 11:00 am, 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm, and 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm.
