The Cass County jail has a capacity of 136 inmates and is staffed by a Lieutenant, four Sergeants, four Corporals, and eighteen Deputies.

How to Send Mail or Package

Personal mail to inmates must be sent through the US postal service, include the sender’s full name and return address, and be free of any pornographic or bio-hazardous material. Mail should be addressed to:

Commissary is operated by Inmate Canteen. Funds may be added to inmates’ accounts online. An account is required.

Visitation Hours

Visitation is held onsite from 8am to 11am and 1pm to 4pm. Visits are 20 minutes long and visitors must check in at the lobby with a photo ID. Inmates may have two visits per week on two separate days. Remote visitation is held for the same hours, as well as 5:30pm to 7pm. An account with Inmate Canteen is required and remote visits may be purchased and scheduled on their website.

The Cass County jail is operated by the local Sheriff’s Office. Jeff Weber is the current Sheriff. The office’s administrative hours are Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm.
