Visitation Hours

In person visitation is held from 2pm-4pm on Tuesday and Thursday. Detainees may visit on only one of these days per week. Special visits can be made by appointment only and must be approved by the Sheriff or Jail Administrator.

Monroe County Sheriff Information

Missouri’s Sunshine Law ensures that copies of records created by the Sheriff’s Office are made available to the public on request. The office is required to employ a custodian of records who is responsible for responding to public records requests. When requesting records, provide as much detail as possible (i.e. relevant names, dates, locations, records type, etc).
