The Ray County jail is administered by the local Sheriff’s Office. Scott Childers is the current Sheriff and Steve Mendoza is the Undersheriff. The staff also includes Lieutenant Amy Sisson, Sergeant James Lawrence, and ten Patrol Deputies. The office’s administrative hours are Monday through Friday from 9am to 3pm.
