Miller County Jail Information and Inmate Search

The Miller County jail is located in Tuscumbia, Missouri. The current facility is three-story and was built in 1998. It houses the Sheriff’s Office, Dispatch Center, and the Adult Detention Center. The jail can house and maintain 112 inmates.

How to Send Mail or Package

This facility only accepts plain postcards (no photos or image prints) as incoming mail. Postcards should be at least 3.5″ by 4.25″ and larger than 4.25″ by 6″. They may be written, typed, or printed in blue or black ink. They should be embossed with a pre-printed or inked stamp.

Messages may be left for inmates by calling 573-369-6004. There is a $1 charge for a 30 second message.

Funds may be added to inmates’ accounts at a kiosk in the Sheriff’s Office visitation lobby (open 8am to 8pm) or by going to the Inmate Canteen website.

Visitation Hours

Visits are held daily from 8am to noon, 1pm to 5pm, and 6pm to 8pm, except Thursdays. The visitation times for Thursdays are 8am to noon, 1pm to 3:30pm, and 6pm to 8pm

Visits last 25 minutes and may be attended by one adult and two children. Detainees are allotted two onsite visits per week and an unlimited amount of remote visits. Visits must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance and may be scheduled up to one week in advance.

Visitors and those being visited can access the kiosks 10 minutes prior to the scheduled visit. Visits are canceled if either is more than 10 minutes late. Missed visits count toward a detainee’s allotted number of visits per week.

Remote visits may be scheduled and purchased at the IC Solutions website or by calling (888) 646-9437. An account is required.

Miller County Sheriff Information

The Miller County Sheriff’s Office operates the local jail. The staff includes the Sheriff and 20 Deputies. The current Sheriff is Captain Louie Gregoire. The office’s administrative hours are Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm.
